Hey alikat, just wanted to make sure all is well. I have missed your writing! Also wanted to let you know I am disappointed in some of the SPA nominations. I definitely would have liked to see "Humbles Grumbles" for best humor story; "Bella Blue Eyes", "counting to ten" and definitely "just a matter of time!" Well I guess I am just a fan of your writing in general! Like I said, hope all is well.

Hey, thanks for the wonderful thoughts. Although I don't feel I am worthy of being in the SPA's...it sure is nice to know that someone DOES think I am and mostly just that they like my stories and writing.

I have been away. In chapter 23 of Just a Matter of Time I explained that with my job and the holiday's there was not much time for writing.

I don't want to say Humble's Grumbles is on hiatus but...sadly it's just not in me. I am not sure if its because it's the first time I am truly writing strictly from an outline so it's not leting the creativity of 'off the cuff' writing. That could certainly be it but with Humble's I truly have to be in a snarky mood. Also, my stories tend to have a beginning, middle, end and some flashes in my head but now clear, written outline. So that may be leading to my own inner fight with myself. the free spirit fighting with the logical one.

Counting to Ten is a different story. I have the next chapter in my head. However, I need to Liason inspiration on screen. I cannot do it to me or the readers to have sadness and push/pull. So....

Now with JaMoT...I am half way trhough with chapter 24 so it should post tonight or tomorrow. YEA!!!

Anyway...i just wanted to let you know how much I really appreciate your comment.

Hey KM....I'm still alive. The last few weeks of the year are very v ery busy for me since I am the Human Resources person for my company. Just me for 140 employees. Year end with 401K, bonuses, final paychecks, checking register to make sure w2's will be right...and of course, holidays, holiday pay and so many people off work...it gets crazy busy for me. Then tack on that I felw up to my sisters on Tuesday and am still here with her family, nephew 24, niece 13 & nephew 10....no time to play on my own. I haven't written squat or been on chat except last hnight for about 30 minutes. However, I fly home Monday and have off for vacation until Jan 5th. So you'll see me plenty next week.

Thanks for asking, I hope you had a wonderful holiday as well.

I am so sorry that i left you hanging in the chat room earlier!! I dont know what happened, but my internet went out and was out all afternoon. anyways, i just wanted to let you know i wasnt trying to be rude, it was a complete accident.

Please don't feel bad. I kind of figured something must have happened. You had said you were making lunch for your daughter and I figured maybe something happened with her. Just glad it was Internet outage and not kitchen fire or something terrible like that. (Although some days I think losing internet might make me crazy)

I just wanted to ask you if you are a SugarLand fan?? I was delighted to see that mention in your new story, which I love by the way. I did not know if you knew but his name is spelled Kristian. I love their music and it was great for them to be used in a Liason story.

No, I can't say taht I am. I am sorry I spelled his name wrong but all I was really wanting was someone that is famous that might be in the Nashville area and be a client of Ashton Advertising and Talent Agency. I jsut looked it up because I had seen their band on the CMA's recently.

Thanks for the heads up on the spelling though....I will have to go back and edit.

Don't even worry about it! It was just something that struck me at the time. I'd pretty much forgotten. What amazes me more than anything now is that they were among the first to come up on your search! LOL.

Anyway, I enjoyed the story.
